Margate Art therapy joins us at the Waste Will Save US store in Upmargate on Friday 21st Febuary for our Half Term upcycling session.
 
This will be a unique event - we are focussed on making this super fun and playful. 
 
Feel free to come for the whole 3 hour session or to just drop in at any point. We will kick off at 12pm and finish at 3pm.
 
Margate Art Therapy will be bringing their expertise to the store and you will have a chance to pick from the Waste Will Save Us archive of fabrics trims stencils and paints for a unique fun and playful session.
 
Open to everyone, (children will have to be accomanied by an adult).   This event is perfect for parents and caregivers looking for something fun to do with children during half term.  
 
We invite you to BYO garment- it’s the perfect opportunity to dig out that well loved but past its best item of clothing, maybe an unworn shirt or a damaged, stained or ripped ‘never to be worn again’ Tshirt, jeans or jacket. 
 
To further boost your creativity and in keeping with the shops ritual ethos we will provide Mint tea and play music.

Adults that do not want to partake in the upcycling dont need to purchase a ticket. There will be vintage garments available on the day for those that decide they do want to join in. Booking in advance is recommended due to limited capacity.
